"Where Science Meets Society and
Place Where ALL are Welcome!"

Welcome to Learning By Design, LLC®

Hello everyone and thank you for visiting our site. Please bear with us as we learn web design. The content and set up of the pages will gradually change as we learn how the process works. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we go on this journey. In general this site will contain a plethora of what we consider good, and at the very least, useful information in many different areas. This site represents us and how we view the world and the great things contained in it. We feel the need to share these things with more than just our close family and friends as we have received such wonderful feedback and encouragement to pursue a wider audience in the hopes that we can help many. Our pet peeve is going to a website and it being so confusing that you cannot find what you are looking for because it is not set up clearly. Our goal is to organize this site in a fashion where you won't have that problem. If you do please let us know. Also, if you are looking for a recommendation for something that is not currently listed it does not mean we don't have one. Just drop us a line and ask. We also would like to hear from those who use the information we provide as to whether or not they find it helpful and useful to them.

Why should you explore our site?

Learning By Design® is an organization that strives to provide NJ parents, educators and individuals with recommendations and direction via this site, phone, email or customized presentations. Have you ever been at a loss as to where to begin. Lets say your child has been diagnosed with a disability and you are devistated when you hear those words. The doctor shoves you out of the office with a diagnosis and script for services that are untainable due to a shortage of professionals to provide them or due to your geographical location. What next? There are so many treatments out there that are tempting to try as we will go to the ends of the earth for our children but you get lost in an abyss. How do you find your way out? This is what Learning By Design® would like to help you with. We would like to provide you with at least a springboard or starting point. No matter what the age of your child we can help you devise a customized educational and vocational plan based on your child's unique talents and gifts. We can also customize student assemblies as well as staff and administrator workshops that are designed to meet your school district's needs. Lets face it we all have our strengths and weaknesses so why not bolster strengths while simultaneously augmenting the weaknesses? Let us help you determine what your children and students are good at and love to do and capitalize on that in order to help them learn and reach their full potential.

Our Value(s)

Good old family values. This is a website for families designed by a family of three. Nicole the passionate and idealistic philanthropist who works with ALL children - not just those with disabilties. Being a sibling of an individual with autism she understands the trials and tribulations families go through when devistation sets in, including the childhood death of her sister who had an obscure liver disease. Her passion and drive to help others is fueled by these experiences. Her husband Christopher, lawyer by trade, writer by gift and four year old Lilly with curls as wild as her personality will be the family who will attempt to provide insight to others on various topics.
